Reduce your carbon footprint, and help OrchardTrust
The Orchard Trust is raising funds by asking its supporters to recycle cartridges, phones and consumer gadgets.
Your used ink and toner cartridges could raise up to £2.75 each, and phones and unused cartridges up to £50.
Printable Freepost labels for ink cartridges, and free collections or local drop-offs for toners.
Recycling saves up to 2.5kg in CO2 — otherwise cartridges take 100s of years to decompose in landfill.
Even if your cartridges aren't eligible, we'll show you other recycling options.
orchardtrust.ink2cash.co.uk is operated by Cartridges4Charity. Since 2003 Cartridges4Charity has been helping consumers and businesses to recycle used inkjet and empty laser cartridges, full cartridges and mobile phones to reduce your carbon footprint, and help raise funds and awareness for good causes.
Printing has significant costs on our environment — over 75% of our cartridges end up in landfill where they take thousands of years to decompose, so we encourage reuse or recycling of cartridges. Refilling cartridges reduces your carbon footprint, as up to 2.5kg of CO2 is saved each time a cartridge is refilled and reused compared to buying a new one.
And it needn't cost you the earth — all our services are free, and straightforward to use. So we'll offer you a Freepost address, a collection, or a local drop-off site for your items if we can reuse your items. If we can't accept your cartridges, we can point you in a useful direction so you can recycle them elsewhere.
